The through-line

One idea runs through all of it: structure that adapts to its conditions instead of fighting them. A satellite panel folds flat and deploys in orbit; a garment can do the same on a growing child. I work at the seam between aerospace thinking, materials and the objects people actually live with, which is what lets me solve a problem in the material rather than the marketing.
