Volkswagen design consulting on the future of mobility.

This project is still protected under an NDA, and only a general overview of my role can be shared. I was acting as part of a team of 3 designers, to consider the future of mobility.

The process involved design thinking methodology; first and second hand consumer research; test driving cars first hand to gain a deep understanding of the specific brand & to test alternative mobility schemes available today; and speculative design tools. The solutions were tested on focus groups throughout the evolution of the project, and feedback fed into the project direction.

Deliverables included a project book, which outlines the design process and an animation which took the client on a journey of our solution. I was chosen from the team to present at the VW headquarters in Wolfsburg, where I presented our findings and solutions to an innovation design team, and the head of VW innovation engineering.
